NOTICIAS/ NEWS INTERNACIONAL published May 18, 2010 Linklaters appoints Arnaud de La Cotardière as head of Commercial division Linklaters announced the appointment of Arnaud de La Cotardière as Divisional Practice Head – Commercial, for a four-year term, with immediate effect. Arnaud, Managing Partner of Linklaters' Paris office, takes over from John Turnbull, who has been appointed Regional Managing Partner - Americas. Linklaters' Commercial division comprises the Intellectual Property, Litigation & Arbitration, Real Estate & Construction, Tax, and Technology, Media & Telecommunications practices. As Divisional Practice Head – Commercial, Arnaud will sit on Linklaters' Executive Committee, which is responsible for the management of the firm. Arnaud joined the firm in 1998 as a partner and specialises in pre-contentious and litigation matters, in the fields of M&A (including public tender offers), contract law, commercial law, securities regulation and white collar crime. Simon Davies, Firmwide Managing Partner, said: "I am delighted to welcome Arnaud into his new role. With his tremendous experience in both practice and management, together with significant client expertise, Arnaud will be a strong asset to our leadership team."
