Norton Rose LLP, the international legal practice, announced that Lynn Yang is to join the corporate team in Shanghai as a partner. Lynn joins from Allen & Overy, where she was Of Counsel. With over 14 years' experience, Lynn has acted on many China-related matters and gained broad experience, particularly in the areas of insurance, securities, funds, regulatory issues and M&A. Her experience includes the acquisition of PRC based financial institutions, and the reorganisation of investment portfolios and foreign direct investment. Tim Marsden, Group Head of Corporate, Norton Rose Group said: “Asia Pacific is a strategically important region for the Group. In addition to growing the Shanghai team, Lynn will further strengthen our international corporate, insurance and M&A capability”. James Bateson, Head of Insurance, Norton Rose LLP said: “Lynn will be a great fit for the insurance team. She is very knowledgeable about the Chinese market and she will be an important part of our growing team in the Asia Pacific region”.
