The patent lawyer Dr. Ralph Nack joins Noerr's Munich office from Bird & Bird. "With his combination of practical international litigation experience and outstanding scientific foundation, Nack suits us ideally“, said Georg Jahn who, with Dr. Martin Diesbach, heads the Noerr Media, IP & IT Department. The 37 year old lawyer specialises in patent infringement litigation particulary in the electronic area, licensing law, patent valuation and the international coordination of patent litigation. He represented Nokia in the wellknown major litigation against IPCom. Nack also specialises in Chinese IP law, has lived in China for two years and acted in patent law cases there. Nack lectures in patent law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich, and is also lecturer at the Munich Intellectual Property Center (MIPLC). Prior to entering legal practice, Nack worked at the Max-Planck-Institut for Intellectual Property in Munich where he was also programme director of the MIPLC. "I am delighted that I can continue to expand my practice in international advice in major patent cases in partnership with the Noerr colleagues. With Noerr, I can offer my German and Asian clients an ideal home", commented Nack on his change to Noerr. The addition of Nack is a further step in the expansion of the Noerr patent team at the highest level.
