Linklaters has appointed Freddy Brausch as its new Luxembourg managing partner, with effect from 15 March 2010, for a four year term. Freddy replaces Patrick Geortay, Francine Keiser and Jean-Paul Spang who are returning to full-time client work. Freddy, a partner since 1987, specialises in investment funds and investment management law and in financial regulation. Jean-Pierre Blumberg, Linklaters' European Managing Partner, said: "Patrick Geortay, Francine Keiser and Jean-Paul Spang have made an excellent contribution as managing partners for Linklaters' Luxembourg office. I now look forward to working with Freddy Brausch as the new Managing Partner. Freddy has the required leadership skills and experience to take our business to the next stage in the Luxembourg market."
