Brussels Managing Partner joins Field Fisher Waterhouse Business Board

Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP announces yesterday the appointment of Brussels Managing Partner Eric Cusas to its Business Board. Eric, who has headed up the firm’s Brussels office since its launch in 2007, will represent the interests of the firm’s continental offices. The Business Board is an elected body of departmental heads chaired by Managing Partner, Moira Gilmour. Its eight members are elected for a three year term and Eric’s tenure begins this month. This is the first time a non-UK partner has sat on the Field Fisher Waterhouse board and is part of the continued integration of the firm’s three European offices based in Brussels, Paris and Hamburg. Under Eric’s leadership the Brussels office, founded by three partners, has grown to 13 partners and 27 other fee earners in the space of two years. Field Fisher Waterhouse’s Managing Partner, Moira Gilmour said: “Our focus is to continue to build on our European strategy, providing clients with a genuine alternative to larger international firms through our offices in the main European jurisdictions. Eric’s appointment to the board is a further step forward in the integration of our European offices, as we continue to grow our operations on the continent.” Eric Cusas said: “I am delighted to have been appointed to the firm’s Business Board to represent Field Fisher Waterhouse’s operations in Germany, France and Belgium.
