Clifford Chance elects new Global Head of Litigation

Clifford Chance today announced that Jeremy Sandelson has been elected head of the Firm's Global Litigation practice.
Jeremy has been Regional Managing Partner of Clifford Chance in the UK and the Middle East since 2005. He became a partner in the Firm in 1988 and was elected managing partner of the London Litigation practice in 2003. The Global L&DR appointment is for a term of four years.
Managing Partner David Childs said: "I would like to thank Jeremy for all his efforts in the management of the London and Middle East offices, particularly over the last year. For many years Jeremy has been a talented player in our London Litigation practice and I believe that his track record, coupled with his leadership experience and the many productive relationships he has cultivated across the firm as a member of our management committee, will make him an outstanding leader of the practice and enable him to position our very strong Global Litigation practice to capitalise on the many opportunities ahead."
Jeremy Sandelson said: "I am delighted to have been elected to this role. Our Global Litigation practice is very well positioned, and we are currently rated in the top tier in all of the key areas for litigation and arbitration.
"We have a broad client base and a great number of high quality partners and associates across our strong network of offices. I am looking forward to working with everyone to build on our all capabilities and fully realise our ambitions of being the global leader."
