Olswang has acted for the management team of high tech consultancy, Cybercom Group ("Cybercom") on the £6 million sale of its UK subsidiary, Cybercom Group UK Ltd ("Cybercom UK") to Digital Marketing Group plc ("Digital Marketing Group"). Cybercom is an IT systems consultancy and systems integrator specialising in e-commerce and electronic trading. It has a strong portfolio of blue chip clients including IBM, John Lewis Partnership, Lloyds TSB and Thomson Reuters. In 2007 Cybercom UK reached £4.4 million in sales through its delivery of complete IT support, project management, design and implementation. The sale of the company will empower the management of Cybercom to capitalise on the success of its subsidiary, and expand throughout Eastern Europe and Asia. Recent transactions include advising Australia-based Keycorp Limited, a leading provider of complete secure electronic transaction solutions, on the AUS$25.7m sale of its UK subsidiary, Multos Limited, to digital security supplier, Gemalto UK Limited; Sony Pictures Television International on its investment in the newly formed UK independent production company, Gogglebox Entertainment; and TIML Golden Square Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Times Infotainment Media Limited, on the £53.2 million acquisition of Virgin Radio Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries from SMG plc.
