International law firm Eversheds has strengthened its pensions team with the appointment of new Leeds head of pensions Terry Saeedi. Terry will join the firm from Hammonds, where she headed up the team in Leeds, in the new year. Terry specialises in all aspects of pensions law affecting trustees and sponsors and has particular expertise in the ESPS and the utilities sector, industry wide and sectionalised schemes and funding and investment. She also brings valuable experience in pensions aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Commenting on Terry’s appointment, Anthony Arter, Head of Pensions, said: “Terry is a well respected figure in the pensions world and locally. Having such an experienced specialist like Terry join Eversheds is testament to the firm and our leading pensions practice. We are the largest pensions team in the UK and Terry will play a key role in building the team.”
